Our service portfolio covers calibration services for a wide range of measurands, including force calibration and pressure gauge calibration. All calibrations are performed at Cartesy’s accredited laboratory in Germany in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 (DAkkS) or, alternatively, as a factory calibration.

How calibration works after booking

Our calibration process is performed either in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 (DAkkS) or as a factory calibration, meeting the highest quality standards. Both methods ensure full traceability and consistently high measurement accuracy – regardless of whether you use Cartesy instruments or equipment from other manufacturers.

An ISO 17025 DAkkS calibration additionally provides the legal certainty required under applicable standards and regulations.

Steps in the Cartesy calibration process:

1. Book or request calibration services: Select the required calibration services via the Cartesy online shop or submit an individual enquiry by email or through the contact form. Telephone support is also available. Cartesy provides calibration of measuring instruments from all manufacturers.
2. Contact & appointment scheduling: Once your order or enquiry has been received, Cartesy will promptly contact you to arrange shipping, scheduling, and process details.
3. Equipment dispatch: Send your measuring instrument to the Cartesy laboratory.
4. Calibration of equipment in the laboratory: Your instruments are tested at our in-house, DAkkS-accredited calibration laboratory. Depending on the device type, calibration is performed in accordance with DKD-R-3-3 (force), DKD-R-6-1 (pressure), or as a factory calibration. Measurement ranges include force up to 50 kN, pressure up to 700 bar, and mass up to 30 t.
5. Optional additional services (if required): Where necessary, supplementary services such as cleaning, adjustment, software updates, or repairs can be carried out, depending on the calibration order and the condition of the equipment. Some services may already be included. Otherwise, any additional work will be agreed with you in advance.
6. Calibration certificate issuance: After completion, you receive either a DAkkS-accredited or factory calibration certificate documenting results and traceability. For DAkkS calibrations, measurement uncertainties are also stated – fully audit- and ISO-compliant.
7. Return shipment & delivery of results: The calibrated devices are returned to you. Calibration certificates are provided in digital format for download. Cartesy also offers full management and result access via its dedicated calibration database CLab.
